Welcome to Daughters Across the Diaspora, a 501c-3 nonprofit igniting change since 2020. We

are dedicated to empowering black and brown women and fostering their potential in business

and community development. Our mission is to elevate underserved communities and transform

the lives of black and brown families.

 

Through our transformative "You are Already the Boss"

business development course spanning 15 weeks, we equip participants with essential tools and

resources to kickstart successful enterprises. Eligible participants may receive start-up grants,

opening doors to economic independence. At Daughters Across the Diaspora, we strive to

dismantle systemic injustices, enabling our participants to transcend barriers and achieve lasting

impact.

would enable them to thrive and compete for a better quality of life. Many of them face systemic

barriers that make it challenging to access traditional employment opportunities. Through our

program, we have witnessed incredible transformations as these women turn their dreams into

viable businesses, contributing to the economic development of their communities.
